It runs on your device, not ours

Violet downloads a small AI model to your headset the first time you play. After that, everything happens locally. Nothing you say is recorded, and nothing is uploaded.

+
Your voice is turned into text on your device. The audio never leaves your headset.
+
That text is checked for slurs and harassment on your device, against a blocklist.
+
Nothing is recorded, and nothing is uploaded. No audio, no transcripts, are kept.
+
If something is caught, the only thing that ever leaves is a short text flag for moderators. Never your voice.

Four steps, all local

[ 01 ]

One-time download

The first time you play, a small AI model downloads to your headset. After that, Violet works offline.

[ 02 ]

On-device transcription

When you speak, the model turns your voice into text right on the device. The audio stays on the headset.

[ 03 ]

On-device check

That text is compared against a list of slurs and harassment, locally. A silence gate keeps it from running while you're quiet.

[ 04 ]

A flag, nothing more

If there's a match, moderators get a short text flag. Your audio is never sent, recorded, or stored.

What it does, and doesn't

IT DOES
  • Catch slurs, hate, and harassment in voice chat
  • Give moderators what they need to act on real violations
  • Work offline once the model is downloaded
IT DOESN'T
  • Record your voice
  • Upload your audio anywhere
  • Keep transcripts of what you say
  • Listen while you're silent
